Some hot and long awaited news for you:

I’ve just completely implemented a Event Module.

Unfortunately, i wasn’t that fast to complete it before the MASN Conference in Ireland, but now it’s done and it works.

It is now possible to create Events with common social network Features, like possibility to say if you’re going to attend, having a map showing you the location etc.

Just check it out for future stuff – and maybe someone is that kind to transfer all those Events from ning to this page?

General Updates

Due Maintainance Time while the last few hours i also updated all our used software of this page – including major updates of our Basic-Software (WordPress).

Now everything is completely up to date.

Future Plans

• Finish the “Homepage” itself – next days
• Fill the page with content
• Improve Usability of the Page
• Implement a Community Map for Couchsurfing / Local Research Contacts / etc.
• Include Link-Lists of old MASN Page(s)

Possible Future Ideas:

• Possibility to connect/sync with several Social Networks (esp. Facebook and Twitter)
• Twitter Feed aggregator of Anthro-Twitterers
• Make the Page itself generally a lively Platform for Anthro-related Content, Information & News.

Hey MASN-People,

do you really think I’m sleeping?

I moved straight through the galaxy, to bring you some features, directly from the restaurant at the end of the universe.

First, there is a update for our network-babelfish, in our case the Activity-Stream.

As you can see here, you now get a preview in the Activity-Stream, when you post media-content like Videos from several know pages or Pictures.

Second thing is, that some of you maybe would like to have some possibilities to format their forum-posts in our “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”?
Now you can do it. Just try it.

But please-

Don’t Panic!

The last days i started to design the Homepage, thought about a intuitive and easy structure of the content (I will present it in the next few days).

But for today, i installed a very important feature (which get’s even more important the more known this page gets):

Captcha!

At the moment you just have to enter a Captcha-Code when you registrate or when you try other stuff as unregistered user.

I think i don’t have to say anything about the sense of it

You can now decide for every profile field, who’s able to see it – everyone – users – friends – no one.
